Paul McCartney made a song about his ex Heather Mills. McCartney worked on 'My Soul' with producer Nitin Sawhney. It will appear on Sawhney's new album London Undersound when it is released in October.

In one lyric, the singer appears to pay tribute to his ex, praising Mills for helping him to move on from the death of his first wife Linda. He writes: "I was awakened by magic. I was alone in this world. Take me away from here."

Later, McCartney blames the press and paparazzi for the breakdown of his relationship, in the lines: "How could this steal all these feelings? How could they lie to the world? A picture away from your smile. One soul displaced. One heart replaced. Feelings defaced. Invade our space. No one left to give us back our time."

The star also expresses regret that he was not aware of the "secrets" surrounding Mills' past.

Sawhney revealed: "Paul has done a track about how he feels about Heather and what was going on with the paparazzi because no one has heard his

side of it at all - so this will be the first time anyone hears a song relating to that subject. It's very emotional and a very powerful song."

A source close to McCartney told the Daily Mail:"'What the song shows is that rather than feeling embittered towards Heather, Paul just feels sorry for her. He feels sorry that she was never able to tell him the full truth about her past life. He feels that their romance happened so fast and so publicly that a lot never really got said.

"Paul knows Heather is a complex person, and deeply misunderstood - but that she has hardly helped herself by being less than transparent about her life.

I agree with him. The press seems to make people 'crack' or breakdown marriages and it is sad. The press has gone psycho since the internet has become popular. Plus it is no fun to imagine about the celebs that people once had a 'crush' on.p
