Brad Pitt has randomly said that his family prefer to exchange home-made gifts at Christmas rather than spend money on expensive presents.
The Curious Tale Of Benjamin Button star, who is raising six children with Angelina Jolie, also admitted that he restricts the amount of cartoons his kids are allowed to watch.
"The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you got to put your time into it," he told Hello!. "Then when they give to each other, it's really sweet."
He went on, : "The gift-giving is a very nice time for us. And the kids don’t ask for the big gifts for the reason that they don’t see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic.
"When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don’t see them they won’t know they’re there."
Pitt and Jolie are parents to twins Vivienne and Knox, Shiloh and adopted siblings Maddox, Zahara and Pax.
That is a good idea. Television is a curse .. unless you are on it ;) . Yes it is true, Brad Pitt was my first celeb crush... since 1994. But I agree... I have cartoons on in the morning for my 15.5 month old daughter but when she gets older, I rather she be outside than watching tv. Hell, she doesn't watch tv as it is.... which of course, is a good thing ;)
